Known across the country for her breadth of industry relationships, her execution across complex lease transactions, and her unwavering passion for relationship-building, she has executed on the some of the country’s most notable retail projects with a transaction history that features a preeminent collection of both high-profile national concepts and innovative upstarts alike.
After a twenty-year career at EDENS, she took on the rollout of national real estate strategy for Sam Fox of Fox Restaurant Concepts as well as Fox’s personal management company, Author and Edit. She founded BOND in 2022 with the vision of creating a boutique retail and development group committed to principal-minded advisory, service excellence and industry-leading insight. With BOND, she is committed to being a thought partner to owners and principals by providing advisory service to top national landlords/developers and a select roster of premier hospitality leaders.
In addition to her work at BOND, she sits on the board of Bartaco – an L Catterton-owned brand, as well as on the advisory board of Colada Shop, a best-in-class Cuban-style café in Washington DC. Outside of her professional life, Jess can be found spending time with her husband and two daughters, traveling, trying new restaurants, and rooting for her New York Mets.
Danielle is a trusted retail development advisor with diverse experience across some the most innovative large scale mixed-use projects in the U.S. After beginning her career on Bluemercury’s real estate strategy team, she spent over 7 years at EDENS executing on the development visions of a $750MM+ portfolio of dynamic mixed-use urban and suburban assets including the nationally renowned Union Market District in Washington DC. Danielle is known for her diverse transactional background and passion for community-building that she has implemented across adaptive re-use development, mixed-use construction, food halls/markets and grocery-anchored lifestyle centers. Known for her eye for spotting emerging concepts and scaling local startups, she has been a key advisor to growing businesses and young founders.
Based in New York City, Danielle is a partner at BOND handling national retail strategy for BOND’s landlord and development partners as well as FOX Restaurant Concepts. Danielle is a graduate of Middlebury College, an avid skier and certified ski instructor and spends her free time listening to the Grateful Dead and exploring New York’s restaurant, music and culture scene.
Stephanie is a seasoned professional in retail leasing, strategy, and sales, recognized for her expertise in transforming retail spaces into thriving, successful destinations. With a background in fashion and apparel, she has a proven track record of delivering strategic leasing solutions for some of the industry’s most high-profile developments.
After beginning her real estate career on a landlord advisory team at Streetsense, Stephanie went on to hold leasing positions with Ashkenazy Acquisitions, working on properties such as Union Station in Washington, DC, and Harborplace in Baltimore. She later joined Brookfield Properties Retail, where she executed leasing strategies for Tysons Galleria, Natick Mall, and the Shops at Merrick Park. Prior to joining Bond, Stephanie played a pivotal role in the retail leasing efforts for the Union Market District in Washington, DC, with EDENS. Her earlier experience in fashion, working as an Account Executive with renowned brands like Catherine Malandrino and Nicole Miller, has provided her with a unique perspective on retail strategy and merchandising. Stephanie specializes in building strong relationships with national, regional, and local tenants, as well as in developing and implementing dynamic merchandising strategies. Her expertise in these areas significantly contributes to the success of landmark properties.
Now based in Washington, DC, after living in New York City for a decade, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her twin daughters and husband. She is also passionate about discovering new retail concepts throughout the country and continually expanding her industry knowledge and insights.
Carren Coston brings 20+ years experience of best-in-class national tenant representation to BOND, where she leads the organization's National Tenant Advisory practice. Prior to BOND, Carren built a team of women and young talent at Newmark, where she took a holistic approach to national tenant representation for both established and emerging brands. Before joining Newmark, Carren Coston spent 6 years as the Vice Presidentof Real Estate and Development at Shake Shack, where she was responsible for the creation of growth strategies and development process, site evaluation, lease negotiations, schedules and permitting for the brand’s nationwide expansion. Carren’s intimate knowledge of the retail landscape in all major markets in the United States—as well as her hands-on experience leading one of the nation's fastest-growing brands—gives her a unique ability to understand a brand's business needs, ensuring their brick-and-mortar roll out is successful.
Prior to Shake Shack and Newmark, Carren worked at Dallimore & Co. where she assisted in creating and implementing growth strategies for clients such as Allen Edmonds, MOMA, Vince, Reformation, Soft Surroundings, Splendid and Open Realty Advisors, where she assisted in implementing growth strategies for clients such as Apple, J. Crew, Madewell, Restoration Hardware, Aritzia and more. Carren was awarded ICSC Foundation’s first Mary Lou Fiala Fellowship, honored as one of ICSC’s 4 Under 40 for 2019, is a current member of the ICSC Foundation Board and is a former member of the ICSC Board of Trustees.
